Liquid paraffin is widely used in some industries by different shapes. Faragam paraffin is producing Liquid paraffin. a highly refined and pure mineral oil, is a versatile hydrocarbon blend known for its neutral, colorless, and odorless properties. it serves as a key ingredient in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, acting as an emollient and base for various products. beyond personal care, it’s widely utilized in food processing, plastics, and industrial applications due to its protective and lubricating qualities.
Petroleum jelly
Petroleum jelly is a highly pure, clear, odorless hydrocarbon compound that is primarily used as an excellent emollient, moisturizer, and lubricant. it is widely used to relive dry skin, including lips and eyelids, and to heal minor cuts by keeping wounds moist. this versatile product also effectively prevents abrasions and helps rehydrate nails, making it a staple in personal care. Petroleum jelly can be produced in the following grades.

Paraffin wax
Paraffin wax is a white or colorless solid hydrocarbon, mainly obtained from crude oil and Slack wax. it consists of saturated hydrocarbons with 20-40 carbon atoms and is produced through refining processes. The wax is widely used in candle making, electrical insulation, and pharmaceutical coatings. it also serves in cosmetics, thermalprinting, and laboratory tissue embedding. Different grades include fully refined (low oil, odorless) and semi-refined types.
Slack wax
Slack wax is a raw by-roduct of oil refining, serving as a precursor to paraffin and scale wax. it’s categorized into heavy and light grades, based on its refining process, melting point (50-55’C), and oil content (5-30%). Light slack wax primarily produces fully-refined paraffin wax. Higher oil content decreases its price, with 10-30% oil content suitable for cold regions. Iran, with substantial oil resources, is a major provider of Slack wax
