Heavy Slack Wax
Heavy Slack Wax Description
Slack wax is a mixture of paraffin wax and oil from crude oil. Slack wax contains oil in amounts ranging from 5% to 30%. This raw material is available in fully refined and semi-refined paraffin wax.
Compared to light slack wax, heavy slack wax has a higher melting and freezing point. Heavy slack wax is a byproduct of oil refining.
Their melting points and other characteristics can distinguish light and heavy slack wax. Heavy slack wax is also darker in color thanย lightย slack wax. Slack wax is one of the residues that remain after the base oil is refined from the lubricant. A solvent is used in this process to initially separate the aromatic compounds from the lube oil. The final product known as raffinate, is created after this step. In the next step, the paraffinic components of the raffinate are extracted to produce base oil. As a result of this process, light slack wax is created.
Heavy Slack Wax Uses
The textile sector also requires heavy slack wax for smooth operation. It is recommended to use paraffin wax and slack wax for thermal insulation and protection of certain materials.
Candles, polishing wax, matches, ink, and carbon paper are just a few examples of the many products that can be produced from heavy slack wax. One of its many applications is in the production of paraffin emulsions. Industries that produce glass wool and other insulation materials.
Heavy Slack Wax Packing
Slack Wax is packing in 175KG steel and plastic drums. Also, it can be packed in customized pack referring to the client order, Slack wax is packaged in bags for lower oil grades (5 to 15 percent), but for higher oil grades such as slack wax (30 percent), the only packaging is in steel drums, ISO tanks or flexi tanks to prevent leakage.
