What is Microcrystalline Wax?
Microcrystalline Wax is a refined hydrocarbon wax with very small crystal formations. It is generally softer, more elastic, and tackier than paraffin wax. The product is manufactured from petroleum refining residues and undergoes further purification to achieve the required quality and performance standards.
Unlike ordinary paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax contains a higher percentage of branched hydrocarbons, giving it superior flexibility, adhesion, elasticity, and moisture resistance.
Applications of Microcrystalline Wax

Used in lipsticks, creams, lotions, hair wax products, ointments, and balms to improve texture, stability, and moisture resistance.
