Paraffin Wax 5-7%

Paraffin Wax 5-7%

Paraffin Wax 5-7% Description:

This specification pertains to paraffin wax categorized as semi-refined, characterized by an oil content ranging from 5% to 7%. The primary component of this wax is either light or heavy slack wax. The specific type of slack wax utilized as a raw material influences the melting point of the resulting semi-refined paraffin wax, which typically falls between 58°C and 65°C. This variance allows consumers to select a paraffin wax grade tailored to the prevailing temperature conditions of their region. Heavier slack wax derivatives are frequently preferred in countries located closer to the equator. Paraffin wax with a 5-7% oil content exhibits a translucent, yellowish-white appearance, a firm texture, and is typically odorless.

Paraffin Wax 5-7% Applications :

Semi-refined paraffin wax with a 5-7% oil content finds common application as a lubricant across diverse industrial sectors. Specifically, it is utilized in tire manufacturing to impart anti-oxidation and anti-cracking properties. Furthermore, it serves as a key ingredient in the production of certain types of candles and polishing compounds. In cement manufacturing, this type of paraffin wax functions as a friction-reducing agent.

Paraffin Wax 5-7% Packing:

Our semi-refined paraffin wax with a 5-7% oil content is typically supplied in 5-6 kg slabs. These slabs are packaged in units of five within PP bags, which are then further contained within a 30 kg carton. Due to the relatively higher oil content compared to other semi-refined paraffin waxes, the carton packaging incorporates an internal liner to prevent potential leakage or seepage. The carton is then secured with shrink wrap. Palletizing of the packaged semi-refined paraffin wax (5-7% oil content) cartons can be arranged in accordance with specific customer requirements.
